The game

Nine names on the guest list, a house of three to five rooms, one body. Everyone stood on one square of the floor plan and no two people share a row or a column. Search the rooms with a magnifying glass, a fingerprint brush and a UV lamp; send prints to the lab; question the guests. The innocent tell the truth in every statement. The one who was alone with the victim lies in every statement — and once you know who lies, every lie becomes a clue.

Two hundred cases across five tiers, each proven to have a single solution, a new daily case every day with streaks, shareable level codes, three-star scoring, and a fresh case a day generated on your own tablet. Interface and cases in English, French, Dutch, Spanish, German and Romanian.

Free, and what costs money

The tutorial, every Easy case, the first ten cases of each higher tier, the daily case and level codes are free, with no ads unless you ask for one. A short rewarded ad — always your choice, never between cases — can rush the lab, buy the deduction hint, give you a second try at a lost daily, or open one more case for good. Full Case Files opens every case and removes the ads; two case packs add new cases for anyone.
